Four additional non-working holidays were established in Crimea in 2026. The decree was published on the portal of the republican government, said the head of the region Sergey Aksenov.

Crimeans will rest on March 20 in connection with the celebration of Eid al-Adha, April 13 in connection with Easter, May 29 in connection with Eid al-Adha, June 1 in connection with the celebration of Holy Trinity Day.

As noted by IA SevastopolMedia, a year earlier these holidays were also non-working days, only some of them were celebrated on other dates.

Earlier, Izvestia wrote how to properly celebrate the Old New Year, which will come on the night of January 14th. This date continues to be an important part of the cultural tradition, as it is associated with many folk customs and prohibitions.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
