Charity events were held in the east of the capital for the families of its participants.

In the early winter months, charity events were held at ice rinks in the east of Moscow for the families of participants in the special military operation (SVO). The program is organized within the framework of the "Winter in Moscow" project, the press service of the Association of Cultural and Leisure Centers of the VAO said.

So, in December, at the ice rink on Molostov Street in the Ivanovskoye district, more than 80 children and adults wrote postcards for military personnel. They were collected in a special box for subsequent shipment to the SVO zone.

On December 20, the "We are together!" competition was held at the skating rink on Sportivny Boulevard in Golyanov. Family teams, including relatives of the SVO fighters, took part in them — more than 120 people in total. They competed in speed and agility on an ice obstacle course. Earlier, a collection of humanitarian aid was organized at this site. Muscovites brought sweets and things for the fighters.

On January 10, a concert "Warmth of Hearts for our Heroes" was held at the skating rink on Shchelkovsky Highway in the Severnoye Izmailovo district. The program includes well-known patriotic songs from war films, as well as modern works. Young artists from the Stephouse Children's Show Review Studio also performed in front of the audience.

Winter in Moscow is a large—scale project that includes cultural, educational and sports events. Special attention is paid to the support of participants and veterans of the special military operation and their families, as well as those who provide assistance to the front.

The formation of cargoes for shipment to the SVO zone is carried out in the district on an ongoing basis. In the east of Moscow, the non-profit organization Dobro Helps, the charity foundation Preobrazhenskaya Pomoshch and the House of Friends Center for Volunteerism and volunteerism are receiving assistance.
