An emergency warning due to snow was announced in Crimea. Precipitation is forecast from January 13 to January 15. Severe weather is expected in the south, east and in the mountains, the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.

According to IA SevastopolMedia, wet snow will stick to wires and trees, and ice will form on the roads. In such conditions, there is a high probability of emergencies caused by accidents at energy and housing facilities.

There may be traffic disruptions and difficulties in the movement of vehicles, especially in sections of mountain passes. Drivers are advised to keep their distance, not to maneuver sharply, and to comply with traffic regulations and speed limits.

Residents and guests of the republic are asked not to go to the mountains and forests, not to park under power lines, billboards and trees. Pedestrians are advised to cross the road carefully, move slowly over bumps and wear non-slip shoes.

Earlier in January, Izvestia reported that snowfall had caused a transport collapse across the country. Similar problems on the roads due to bad weather were recorded last year.

All important news is on the Izvestia channel in the MAX messenger.
