The Russian Armed Forces have launched a massive high-precision weapon attack on the energy infrastructure and enterprises of the military-industrial complex (MIC) of Ukraine. This was announced on January 14 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

"The objectives of the strike have been achieved. All designated facilities have been hit," the Russian Defense Ministry said.

It is specified that the strike was carried out in response to terrorist attacks by Ukraine on civilian targets in Russia. High-precision ground-based weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles were used.

On the same day, it was reported that units of the Dnepr group of forces were using unmanned Sirius-82 boats to disrupt attempts by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) to force the Dnieper River in the Kherson region. According to the platoon commander of unmanned boats with the call sign Kolibri, the use of unmanned boats makes it possible to effectively block waterways, limit enemy maneuver and isolate his movement through the waterways of the Kherson region.
