A taxi check function has appeared on the Gosuslugi portal. It allows you to find out whether the carrier and his car comply with the requirements of the law, the press service of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation reported on January 13.
The service can show information about a passenger taxi and information about the carrier. The data is downloaded from the Taxi Ministry of Transport system, which stores information about transportation permits and which cars are included in the passenger taxi registry. It confirms the legality of taxi operation, the ministry noted.
Verification is carried out by scanning the QR code in the car interior or manually entering data (license plate number and the region where the taxi operates).
"The inspection helps to increase road safety and reduce the number of illegal carriers. If there is no information in the registry or there is an error in them, you can report a violation through the feedback platform," the Ministry of Finance added.
On January 9, amendments to the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation came into force in the Russian Federation, which established new sanctions for violations of safety rules when transporting children. Now the imposition of an administrative fine on the driver will amount to 5 thousand rubles (previously - 3 thousand rubles); on officials — 50 thousand rubles (previously — 25 thousand rubles); on legal entities — 200 thousand rubles (previously — 100 thousand rubles).
