Kia has registered two trademarks in Russia

The South Korean automobile company Kia has registered two trademarks with the same logo in Russia. This follows from Rospatent data on January 13, which is quoted by RIA Novosti.

The company submitted applications to the agency in August and October 2024, but they were approved only in 2026. The South Korean company can now sell passenger cars, motorboats and bicycles, the agency said.

Trademarks are valid until 2034.

The day before, it became known that Mercedes-Benz had registered its trademark. From now on, Mercedes-Benz can produce and sell both cars and their spare parts in Russia.
