The State Duma proposed to transform the position of classroom teacher in schools

The position of the classroom teacher needs to be transformed, securing the status of "mentors" for the person who performs these duties, thereby freeing them from the previously existing subject load. This was announced on Tuesday, January 13, by Boris Chernyshov, Deputy Speaker of the State Duma.

"I ask you to consider the initiative to transform the position of the class teacher. It is proposed to assign the status of a "mentor" to classroom teachers and free them from the subject load," RIA Novosti quotes the contents of his message to the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov.
