Russian military personnel destroyed observation posts and a dugout of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Gunners of the Guards tank formation of the South group of forces in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) destroyed observation posts and a dugout of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Konstantinovsky area of the special military operation (SVO). This was announced on January 13 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

After conducting reconnaissance by operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), two observation posts and a dugout were found in a residential building in the village of Berestok and one observation post in Ilyinovka. According to the ministry, they were equipped to shelter the manpower of the Ukrainian military.

The intelligence was passed on to the artillery crews. As a result of the firing of the 152-mm Hyacinth-B artillery piece, the targets were destroyed along with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"The commands are sent to the main control center, and from it they are already sent to our superiors, who will issue adjustments. <...> The infantry is the main attack," a soldier with the call sign Goofy told about his work.

On January 12, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that artillery crews of the Russian North group of forces had destroyed more than 110 enemy targets in Sumy and Kharkiv regions over the past week. According to the ministry, UAV control points, observation posts, field ammunition depots and fuel and lubricants are affected daily.
