A civilian was killed when an AFU FPV drone attacked a car in the Bryansk region.
A civilian was killed in an attack by an FPV drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the village of Strachovo in the Suzemsky district of the Bryansk region. This was announced on Monday evening, January 12, by the head of the region, Alexander Bogomaz.
"Ukrainian terrorists have launched a targeted FPV drone attack on a moving civilian car in the village of Strachovo, Suzma district. Unfortunately, a civilian was killed as a result of the terrorist attack," he said in a message posted on his Telegram channel.
It is noted that representatives of operational and emergency services are working at the scene. The governor expressed his condolences to the family and friends of the deceased, and also stressed that all necessary financial assistance would be provided to his family.
On the same day, the press service of the government of the Luhansk People's Republic (LNR) reported the wounding of two civilians, gas workers born in 1979 and 1964, in the Kremen district. The victims were hospitalized with multiple mine-explosion injuries and shrapnel wounds, one of them is in intensive care in serious condition.
