More than 900 km of highways were repaired in the Rostov region in 2025
In 2025, more than 900 km of roads were reconstructed, overhauled and repaired in the Rostov region. This is reported by the Department of Information Policy of the government of the region.
The work took place on 114 sections of regional roads with a total length of 389.2 km, as well as on 446 local sites with a length of 528.4 km. Thus, 917.6 km of roads were put in order in the region.
According to NovostiRostov, 288 facilities were repaired as part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life". The amount of financing amounted to 10.1 billion rubles, of which 5.9 billion were allocated from the federal budget.
According to Deputy Minister of Transport Rinat Kikichev, when forming the list of planned works, the social significance of the facilities is primarily taken into account. Priority is given to areas leading to schools, hospitals, cultural centers, recreation areas and sports complexes.
In mid-December, it was reported that 3.1 billion rubles are planned to be invested in the modernization of the Rostov Region's power grids over the next three years. Due to heavy loads on worn-out power grids in the region, the quality of energy supply is suffering, and this will have to be dealt with systematically.
