A criminal case has been opened in the Stavropol Territory on fraud for 6.7 million rubles during the renovation of a school. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region.

We are talking about a school in the village of Preobrazhenskoye, which was awarded a repair contract by a company led by a 38-year-old resident of the village of Krasnogvardeisky. According to the Interior Ministry, the man intentionally used cheaper analogues of materials, but indicated other information in the reports.

Discrepancies between the actual work performed and the information shown in the acceptance certificates and certificates were confirmed by a forensic construction and technical examination. The damage amounted to more than 6.7 million rubles, writes Stavropol.Media.

A criminal case has been opened against the CEO of the contractor company under Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation "Fraud". The investigation is ongoing.
