Air defense forces shot down 56 Ukrainian UAVs over Russian territory in four hours
In four hours, the Russian air defense forces destroyed 56 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over Russia. This was announced on January 12 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
"From 16:00 Moscow time to 20:00 Moscow time, 56 Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the ministry said in a statement.
It is known that 21 drones were shot down over the Crimea, 18 over the Krasnodar Territory, four each over the Bryansk and Kursk regions, one over the Voronezh Region and eight over the Sea of Azov.
Earlier in the day, the air defense forces destroyed 19 Ukrainian UAVs from 8:00 to 16:00 Moscow time. According to updated data, seven drones were shot down over the territory of the Republic of Crimea, five over the Sea of Azov, four over the Krasnodar Territory, two over the Kursk region and one over the Belgorod region.
