A foreigner tried to transport seven people from the Chernivtsi region of Ukraine to Moldova in a truck with beer. This was announced on January 12 at the office of the country's Prosecutor General.
"A citizen of a foreign country has been exposed in Bukovina, who tried to illegally smuggle seven men abroad, hiding them in a truck with beer," the Telegram channel said.
The cost of illegal departure, according to the investigation, ranged from €6 thousand to €13 thousand per person. At the same time, 34 thousand euros were seized during the detention at the Mamalyga checkpoint.
CNN reported on December 24 that at least 29 Ukrainian skiers died while trying to cross the mountains or swim across the Tisa River, which separates northern Romania from southwestern Ukraine.
