JAC company announced the start of sales in Russia of the T9 pickup truck with a new suspension

JAC has launched sales of a new modification of the T9 pickup truck in Russia, which is focused on increased comfort. The cost of the model in the Urban version will be 3.69 million rubles. This is stated in the message of the Chinese brand, which was received by Izvestia on January 12.

In the Urban version, the pickup truck uses a rear Multilink spring suspension. Prior to this, the model was sold only with a rear-mounted spring suspension. Representatives of JAC noted that the new modification has a smooth ride of a pickup truck comparable to modern crossovers. The package also includes electronic control of the all-wheel drive system and a forced locking of the rear differential.

The JAC T9 is offered in Russia with a two-liter 224-horsepower turbo engine priced from 3.65 million rubles and with a 163-horsepower diesel engine of the same volume for 3.75 million rubles (prices for 2025 models). Both units work in conjunction with an eight-speed automatic transmission. In 2025, 3.1 thousand copies of T9 were sold in the Russian Federation, and 60% of them were purchased by individuals.

Currently, the Russian JAC line includes seven models. The latest novelty is the RF8 minivan priced from 4.8 million rubles.
