The car service market in Russia reached a volume of 1.2 trillion rubles in 2025

The market capacity of passenger car services amounted to 1.2 trillion rubles by the end of 2025. This was announced on December 12 by the analytical agency Autostat. The estimate is based on statistics for 69 Russian regions, which account for about 97% of the passenger car fleet.

The market volume for maintenance and repair services amounted to 719.1 billion rubles, and for leading services such as car washing, tire fitting and body repair — 485 billion rubles.

Official dealers accounted for 8.5% of the maintenance and repair services market (60.7 billion rubles), while independent service stations took about 4.5 times more (37% or 267.4 billion rubles).

Experts estimated the market potential, that is, work performed personally by car owners or private mechanics, at 54.5% (391 billion rubles). For calculations, only the cost of the work itself was taken into account, excluding the sale of spare parts and consumables.

Analysts estimated the market volume for car wash services at 221 billion rubles, 46.8 billion rubles for tire repair, and 217.2 billion rubles for body repairs.
