In Moscow, a justice of the peace imposed a fine of 3,000 rubles for a voice message with insults in a messenger. This is stated in the case file, which was reviewed by Izvestia on January 12.

"She committed an insult, that is, humiliation of the honor and dignity of another person, expressed in an indecent or other form contrary to generally accepted norms of morality and morality, namely: she sent audio messages through the Telegram messenger that had offensive text," the case file says.

The person involved also appeared in court, pleaded guilty and said that another person, to whom the voice message was sent, provoked her. The evidence in the case was the act of listening to an audio recording.

LDPR deputies, led by party leader Leonid Slutsky, have prepared a bill providing for administrative fines of up to 500,000 rubles for harassment and cyberbullying. Thus, it is planned to introduce an article in the Code of Administrative Offenses (CAO RF) that will punish regular insults and humiliations of citizens, including cases on the Internet and in the media. Bullying refers to repeated acts committed in an obscene or immoral manner.
