The Czech parliament will demand the resignation of a deputy who condemned the supply of weapons to Kiev.

The Czech opposition will demand the resignation of Speaker of the House of Deputies Tomio Okamura, who condemned the supply of weapons to Ukraine during his New Year's address. This was announced on January 11 by the head of the TOR 09 party, Matej Ondrej Havel, on Czech television.

"The opposition parties intend to initiate at a meeting of the Chamber of Deputies on Tuesday, even before the vote of confidence in the new cabinet is discussed, the issue of removing Speaker of the House Tomio Okamura from his post because of his scandalous statements in a New Year's address," the politician said.
