Residents of the Verkhnebureinsky district of the Khabarovsk Territory were left without heating and hot water at -30 degrees due to a communal accident. This was announced on January 12 by the regional prosecutor's office.
"On January 11, 2025, as a result of an accident on utility networks in the village of Novy Urgal in the Verkhnebureinsky district, the supply of cold and hot water supply, thermal energy to apartment buildings and social institutions was limited," the department's Telegram channel said.
Repair and restoration work is currently underway.
On New Year's Eve in Yakutsk, a car drove into a pipeline and damaged heating networks, as a result, 23 houses were left without heat supply at -40 degrees. The emergency services of the Yakutsk CHPP immediately began to localize and eliminate the consequences. Repair crews are working on site.
