The Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Rodion Miroshnik, said that 130 civilians were shot by the Ukrainian military in Selidovo. This became known on January 12.

"Of course, all of this (the number of dead civilians — ed.) also depends on how intense the fighting was. That is, how long they lasted there. That's how fierce the Ukrainian militants were there. Well, they went out to Selidovo, 130 people were shot," Miroshnik told RIA Novosti.

He added that due to the actions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, a large number of residents left the frontline areas. Work is currently underway to count the surviving civilians.
