The calculation of the MLRS "Hurricane" of the group of forces "Center" hit the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The calculation of the Uragan multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) of the Center group of forces inflicted a massive area strike on the positions of formations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Red Army area of the special military operation (SVO).This was announced on January 12 by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

It is specified that during the reconnaissance, an area of accumulation of military forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was discovered. The crew fired 220-mm rockets at an area target at a range of more than 30 km.

As a result of the strike, shelters of Ukrainian servicemen were damaged, equipment and personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed.

"When the senior officer of the battery gives the command to aim, I aim the car, orient it, report to him. <...> Two sighting shots first, if we hit without correction <...> At the end, I report to the senior officer of the battery about four shots, expenses and descents," said Senior Sergeant Nikolai Velganenko, commander of the Guard combat vehicle.

It is noted that the effectiveness of the strike was monitored by calculations of the troops of unmanned systems.

Earlier, on January 11, gunners of the 114th separate Guards motorized Rifle brigade of the Center group of forces destroyed a MaxxPro armored personnel carrier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Red Army area. Using a 130-millimeter M-46 cannon, the gunners of the Russian Armed Forces (RF Armed Forces) quickly aimed and destroyed the target.
