After the military operation in Venezuela, the United States maintains contacts with the Cuban authorities and discusses possible agreements. This was announced on January 11 by US President Donald Trump in an interview with reporters.

The American leader answered the question about what kind of "deal" Washington would like to conclude with Havana. He noted that the details will be revealed later.
