Panes reported on increased pension payments for the disabled and elderly
Elderly people over 80 years of age and people with disabilities of the first group will receive an increased pension supplement in Russia. This was announced on January 12 by State Duma deputy Kaplan Panes (LDPR).
"There are increased fixed payout options. From the age of 80 and with a disability of the first group, the fixed payment is taken into account in double the amount, that is, 19,169.38 rubles, then district allowances are applied if eligible," Panesh told RIA Novosti.
He added that the additional allowance for care from January 1, 2026 is 1,413.86 rubles, and if there are dependents, one third is added to the fixed payment for each, taking into account a maximum of three dependents.
Earlier, on January 10, it was reported that state disability pensions and social pensions will be indexed from April 1, taking into account the increase in the subsistence level of pensioners by 6.8%. The indexation will affect the disabled of the Great Patriotic War, blockade survivors, certain categories of disabled military personnel who suffered in Chernobyl, as well as disabled children eligible for a social pension.
