After the winter holidays, many people start making plans for the coming year, as well as summarizing the results of the previous one. On Monday, January 12, Daria Yakuba, a psychologist at the Sberbank healthcare company, told Gazeta about the need to abandon self-criticism and devote this time to making plans for the future.Ru».

"Summing up the results of last year, a person can look at their own life from the outside and figure out how it can be improved. However, this process should not be a reason for self-criticism. It is better to consider it as a chance to better understand your own desires and needs. This will allow, for example, to review habits that hinder personal growth, or to prioritize the future," she said.

When talking about the important events of the past year, it is worth paying attention not only to the most significant events and difficulties, but also to bright positive cases from everyday life, even if they are insignificant. These include, for example, pleasant words of support heard from loved ones. Or the health problems that have been solved over the past year. This can give you a sense of energy and inspiration to continue moving forward.

"In order to maintain a good emotional state, it is necessary to regularly find time for relaxation and activities that bring pleasure. These can be, for example, outdoor walks, socializing with family and friends, hobbies, reading books or listening to music," the expert recalled.

On January 9, Elena Kosheleva, Director of Sberbank Insurance projects, told Izvestia that outdoor activities are becoming more popular in winter, from ice skating and skiing to family walks and games in the snow. But at the same time, the risk of injury increases. According to the company, Russians most often choose cross-country skiing (22%), winter hiking (18%) and ice skating (12%). Sledging is used by 9% of the respondents, while tubing, downhill skiing, snowboarding and winter fishing received 7% each.
