The State Duma announced the next 12-day New Year holidays in 2032

The next 12-day holiday period is expected in six years — in 2032, and in 2027, Russian residents will have 11 days of rest for the New Year. This was announced on January 12 by Svetlana Bessarab, a member of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs, from the United Russia party.

"At the same time, we can already conclude that long New Year holidays are confidently entering our lives. And if for 2027 it can be assumed that their duration will be 11 calendar days, taking into account December 31, 2026, then the probability of the longest holidays falls on 2032, when Sunday, January 11, may be the end of the 12-day New Year holidays," TASS quoted her as saying.
