Private Khakirov defused the mine-explosive barrier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The sapper of the assault company, Private Ali Khakirov, was advancing towards the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) as part of the assault group when he discovered a mine–explosive barrier on the way. The press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the exploits of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the area of a special military operation on Monday, January 12.

Khakirov warned his comrades and began mine clearance. After professionally carrying out the work in a short time, the private defused the explosive device, and the group continued the route. As a result, the stormtroopers successfully occupied the fortified positions of the enemy.

The Ministry of Defense also noted the bravery and professionalism of the driver of a howitzer self-propelled artillery installation (ACS), Private Stepan Lopatin, who, in the calculation of a self-propelled howitzer, moved into position to provide fire support to his comrades.

On the approach to the positions, the ACS was attacked by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Lopatin was the first to notice the approach of enemy drones and opened fire. The private managed to destroy two drones, after which the crew continued to carry out the task of fire support.

Earlier, on January 11, the Russian Defense Ministry told how Lance Corporal Yevgeny Boriskin, who was acting as part of an anti-aircraft missile crew at the Guard's air surveillance post, diverted enemy drone fire on himself in order to prevent a strike on his comrades.
