The Social Fund has appointed more than 210 thousand payments for the New Year holidays

From January 1 to January 10, the Social Fund of Russia assigned Russians more than 210 thousand benefits and state support measures. This was announced on January 11 in the press service of the Social Fund of Russia.

"From January 1 to January 10, 2026, the Social Fund's specialists made decisions on more than 210 thousand applications for various payments, allowances, rehabilitation and services," the report says.

The foundation clarified for RIA Novosti that the largest number of applications was related to a single benefit for families with children and pregnant women. Over the holidays, more than 166 thousand such requests were reviewed through the Gosuslugi portal.

"Special attention is paid to the support of the participants of the special military operation," the Social Fund noted.

In addition, the Social Fund's customer services were operating on January 5 in all regions of Russia. On this day, almost 15 thousand urgent issues of citizens were resolved.
