Six people were killed in a shooting in Mississippi in the United States.

Six people, including a seven-year-old girl and a pastor, were killed in a shooting in Mississippi, USA. This was reported on January 10 by The New York Post (NYP), citing police statements.

The killer was named as 24-year-old Darik Moore. It is reported that the suspect killed his father, uncle and brother in Cedar Bluff, west of West Point.

"Investigators reported that after the murders, Moore stole his brother's truck and fled the scene, prompting a manhunt throughout the county," the publication said.

Subsequently, the suspect attempted to commit sexual violence with one of the victims, and then allegedly killed a seven-year-old child.

Then he went to another place, where he allegedly shot two brothers— Barry and Samuel Bradley. One of them was a pastor at a local church.

Subsequently, the police found the stolen truck. Darika Moore was detained at night. He faces the most severe punishment, up to the death penalty.

Moore admitted his guilt and said he acted alone. He had no previous criminal record.
