Arab News reported on the Pakistan Navy's weapons tests in the Arabian Sea

Pakistan's Navy launched anti-aircraft missiles and tested weapons during exercises in the Arabian Sea. This was reported on January 10 by the Arab News newspaper, citing a statement from the General Directorate of Public Relations of the US Navy.

"The exercises included the successful launch of LY-80(N) missiles from a vertical launch system at a long range, confirming the long-range capabilities of modern air defense systems of the Pakistan Navy," the report said.

It is noted that the exercises also included the successful destruction of surface targets using ammunition and testing of surface vessels.
