The State Duma proposed to reduce the deadline for reviewing claims against airlines

In Russia, the deadline for reviewing claims against airlines may be reduced from 30 to five business days. Yaroslav Nilov, head of the State Duma Committee on Labor, Social Policy and Veterans' Affairs, made such an initiative on January 11.

"It is proposed, taking into account all modern communication methods, the possibility of sending applications, complaints, and claims through the website, to shorten the review period so that passengers can understand what compensation will follow, further steps and conclusions. Therefore, it is proposed to reduce the deadline for reviewing claims from 30 to five working days," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

According to the parliamentarian, these will be fair changes.
