In Yalta, in the Republic of Crimea, a fire broke out in a shopping center on an area of 1 thousand square meters. m. On January 10, the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the region reported on its official website.

"The Crisis Management Center received a message about smoke in the Dobrotsen store at the address: Yalta, village. Vinogradnoye, Krasina St.. <...> Upon arrival, it was established that the roof of the building was on fire," the publication says.

It is noted that there are no casualties at the moment.

50 people and 16 units of special equipment are involved in extinguishing the fire.

Earlier, on January 8, emergency workers rescued 42 people, including four children, during a fire in Vladivostok in the Primorsky Territory. It was noted that one person was injured in the incident.
