Santa Claus train arrives in Vologda

The Santa Claus themed train has arrived in Vologda as part of its journey. Footage of the January 10 event is published by Izvestia.

Locals with children came to meet the wizard at the train station. A festive performance was organized for them, which was attended by animators in animal costumes, the Snow Maiden and Santa Claus himself. The children also had a chance to chat with a fairy-tale character. He gave them instructions for the coming year.

Santa Claus went on a trip to Russia for the fifth time. The train is a mobile holiday residence decorated with a New Year theme. He makes stops at major stations.

The train has a Santa Claus reception car, a fairy village, a stage car, a puppet theater car, as well as a buffet, a restaurant and a souvenir shop.
