The Golden Ring tourist route will be expanded to 49 settlements, which will increase the attractiveness of the regions among tourists. This was announced on January 10 by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko.

"The Golden Ring will turn 60 years old in 2027. On the eve of the anniversary date, it is receiving additional development and is increasing by 49 settlements," Chernyshenko said.

It is noted that the route will include settlements in the Nizhny Novgorod and Tver regions.
