As a result of an attack by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) Three vehicles were destroyed and 10 more were damaged at the service station of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Chervonogvardeysky district of Makeyevka, Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). Izvestia publishes footage from the scene on January 10.
"Burnt—out cars, broken windows, damaged facades - these are the consequences of a night attack by UAVs (APU. — Ed.) of an aircraft type, presumably the Czech-made FP-2, a heavy attack UAV used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Donetsk and Makeyevka," said Izvestia correspondent Yevgeny Bykovsky.
According to him, there was no information about the victims as a result of the incident. Buildings and vehicles damaged by the impact can be seen behind the correspondent.
"Investigators of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia are recording the consequences of an armed attack in the Chervonogvardeysky district of Makeyevka by the armed formations of Ukraine (VFU. — Ed.)," a representative of the department who arrived at the place of arrival told Izvestia.
He clarified that during the Ukrainian attack, both civilian infrastructure facilities and their cars were damaged, and also added that the fragments of the device found would be sent for examination to determine the type of UAV.
The governor of the Zaporizhia region, Yevgeny Balitsky, reported on the same day that residential buildings and a school had been damaged during a night attack by Ukrainian drones on Berdyansk. The head of the region, adding that there were no victims of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, noted that representatives of the damage assessment commission had already begun work at the scene of the incident.
