Tourist routes for tourists from China have been developed in the Altai Territory

The authorities of the Altai Territory have developed tourist routes for citizens of the People's Republic of China (PRC) who have come to stay in Russia. Projects aimed at strengthening intercultural communication are being prepared for launch next year. This was announced on January 10 by Alexander Baryshnikov, head of the regional Department for the development of tourism and resort activities.

"The Altai Territory is actively preparing to receive tourists from China. <...> Our routes aimed at Chinese travelers will help strengthen intercultural ties, economic growth of the region and increase the recognition of the Altai Territory in the international arena," he said in an interview with TASS.

The agency's interlocutor noted that he and his colleagues are actively working to create a comfortable infrastructure, improve the quality of service and expand the range of tourist services in their area. The developed routes are almost ready to accept the first groups: tour operators are already interested in cooperation with the organizers.

In total, as Baryshnikov specified, three routes have been prepared, two of which were created jointly with other Russian regions.
