When planning a trip from Russia to Asian or African countries, it is worth consulting with your doctor and choosing a medication regimen for malaria prevention. This was reported on January 10 in the press service of Rospotrebnadzor.

"In order not to get infected and develop malaria, it is very important to consult a doctor two to three weeks before the planned trip when traveling to countries in Africa, Asia and other countries with tropical and subtropical climates in order to clarify the need for prevention and choose the optimal medication regimen," RIA Novosti quoted the statement.
