In 2026, the United Kingdom allocated 200 million pounds ($268 million) to finance preparations for the possible deployment of international forces in Ukraine. This was announced on January 9 by British Defense Minister John Healey during a visit to Kiev.
"The Minister of Defense today confirmed that 200 million pounds have been allocated for this year, which will be targeted to finance preparations for the possible deployment of multinational forces for Ukraine," the British Defense Ministry said in a communique on its website.
