The United States and Ukraine are preparing to sign a "prosperity deal" — an agreement on the restoration of Ukrainian territory for $800 billion. This was reported on January 9 by The Telegraph newspaper.

"Ukraine and the United States plan to sign a prosperity agreement to rebuild the country at a gathering of world leaders in Davos," the publication says.

It is noted that the agreement is designed for 10 years. The funds will be used to rebuild Ukraine and further support its economy.

The publication also says that the deal is closely linked to the mineral resources agreement, which provides American investors with preferential access to Ukrainian mining projects.
