The fire in a private house started as a result of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) strike in the village of Fonov in the Rylsky district of the Kursk region. This was announced on January 10 by the head of the region, Alexander Khinstein, in the Telegram channel.

"The enemy attacked the territory of a house in the Fonov farm in the Rylsky district. A fire started on the second floor of the house," the statement said.
