Vyacheslav Fetisov, a two-time Olympic hockey champion and State Duma deputy, said he would not watch the 2026 Olympic Games.

"I'm not going to watch this Olympics. <...> Broadcasting those competitions where we are not present is probably not quite right. And I'm not interested in watching this Olympics," Fetisov said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
