Cars were stuck on the MKAD due to heavy snowfall in Moscow. The January 9 footage is published by Izvestia.

"Snow storm Frances is only gaining momentum, in some sections of the MKAD the road is completely paralyzed. The inside is completely blocked. Drivers are forced to stop, turn around, and drive on the other side," the Izvestia correspondent said.

A number of drivers noted that they had been stuck in traffic for four hours, having traveled only a few kilometers during this time. In addition, some cars even get stuck in the snow on the road. They are helped by passers-by and other motorists.
