Medvedev demanded that the United States recognize the legitimacy of its operation after the operation in Venezuela

Representatives of the American authorities — members of both the Republican and Democratic parties — must, after the US operation in Venezuela, recognize the legitimacy of Russia's actions in the area of the special military operation (SVO). This was announced on January 9 by Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council.

"I noted this immediately after the event (by the United States in Venezuela. — Ed.). <...> American elites — both Republican and Democratic — must <...> recognize the legitimacy of Russia's actions during its military operation," his post published on the Telegram channel says.
