Psychologist Popova gave recommendations for returning to a work schedule.
The sleep and wake regime shifts during the New Year holidays, so two days before going to work, you should gradually return to your usual schedule. Tatiana Popova, an associate professor at the Moscow Institute of Psychoanalysis, told about this on January 9.
"No matter how much we talk, the regime will still move out, and perhaps we should allow ourselves to do this and not scold ourselves. But two days before the end of the holidays, tell yourself that it's time to slowly return and adapt to normal life," Popova told TASS.
She added that it is important not to catastrophize and remember that work brings income, achievements and many pleasant moments.
Earlier, on January 4, it was reported that after the long January holidays, people often face "post-holiday" adaptation, manifested in fatigue, apathy and anxiety. Experts point out that this is a normal reaction of the body to a regime change, not a real burnout. For a gentle return to work, it is recommended to adjust your sleep schedule in advance and plan tasks for a week or a month.
