The doctor spoke about the new rules of medical examination in Russia
Starting in 2026, Russians will undergo medical examinations under the new rules, including screening for viral hepatitis and HPV. This was announced on January 9 by the chief physician of the Health Strategy clinic network, internist Dmitry Demidik.
"Medical examinations are now more focused on the reproductive function of the body. Accordingly, we have added screenings for the detection of viral hepatitis, including hepatitis C, and the detection of human papillomavirus (HPV), which, in principle, did not exist before. Liquid cytology is also performed in women — this is a more accurate study for the early detection of pathology that leads to infertility," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
