In Orel, as a result of an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), a municipal infrastructure facility was damaged. This was announced on January 9 by the governor of the region Andrey Klychkov.

"As a result of another enemy attack, the municipal infrastructure of the city of Orel was damaged," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

It is noted that the water and heat supply systems of the Zavodsky, Northern and Zheleznodorozhny districts of the city are also being restarted.

Klychkov added that a drop in the coolant level is expected in the Sovetsky district within a few hours.
