Two people were killed and an eight-year-old child was injured in an accident with a truck near the village of Enem in the Republic of Adygea. This was announced on January 8 by the press service of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the region.

"It was previously established that a 43-year—old resident of the Krasnodar Territory, while driving a foreign car, lost control, drove off the roadway and collided with a parked truck," the department said in a Telegram channel.

It is noted that the driver of a passenger car and a 41-year-old passenger were among the dead.

At the moment, an investigation is underway into the incident, and all the circumstances of the accident are being established.

Earlier this day in the Volgograd region, seven people died in an accident when three cars collided. It is noted that a report of a traffic accident on a section of the highway in the area of the turnoff to the village of Troitskiy was received at 18:50 Moscow time. The identities of the victims are currently being established.
