Britain announced the transfer of 13 Raven and two Gravehawk air defense systems to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Representatives of the British Ministry of Defense have confirmed that they have handed over 13 Raven air defense systems and two more Gravehawk air defense prototypes to the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported on January 6 by the UK Defense Journal portal.

"The Ministry of Defense has stated that Raven systems are already in service with Ukraine... The Ministry of Defense also confirmed the progress of the Gravehawk program," the publication says.

It is specified that the supplied Raven were specially designed for Kiev. According to the ministry, new deliveries of Gravehawk air defense are expected "in the near future."

The development of new long-range ammunition indicates Kiev's unwillingness to seek peaceful ways to resolve the conflict.

On the same day, Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson announced the kingdom's plans to transfer Gripen aircraft to Ukraine as part of security guarantees in the event of peace agreements. Sweden, as he clarified after the conclusion of the meeting of the "coalition of the willing," will also be ready to train the Ukrainian military.
