The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation showed footage of the liberation of the village of Podoly in the Kharkiv region.

On January 8, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation published footage of the hoisting of the Russian flag in different areas of the village of Podoli, Kharkiv region, by military personnel of the Zapad group of forces.

Thanks to the coordinated work of assault groups, artillery crews and operators of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), it was possible to destroy fortified positions, defensive structures and enemy firepower, the ministry said.

It is noted that after suppressing the main pockets of resistance, the military conducted a sweep of the territory and established full control over the settlement, destroying a significant number of personnel and equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU).
