The Air Defense Forces destroyed 66 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) overnight The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) over the regions of Russia. This was announced on January 8 by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
"During the past night, from 23.00 Moscow time on January 7 to 7.00 Moscow time on January 8, 66 Ukrainian aircraft—type unmanned aerial vehicles were intercepted and destroyed by air defense systems on duty," the agency said in a statement on its Telegram channel.
