Carlson stated the similarities between Russia and the United States

American journalist Tucker Carlson said on January 8 that Russia and the United States have a lot in common.

"Russia is a Christian country <...> with whom we have a lot in common, whether you like it or not," Carlson said in a video posted on the social network X.

The journalist added that he considers Russia to be a serious country.

Earlier, on December 19, the journalist pointed out the West's guilt in strained relations with Russia. He called the Russian president one of the most respected leaders in the world, noting his great and hard work as the country's leader.

A week earlier, on December 11, Carlson called Russia the most advantageous ally for the United States. He noted that Russia is the largest country in the world with significant reserves of minerals, energy resources, oil, gas and gold.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on December 8 that Russia and the United States would be able to "restore" bilateral relations in the future and bring them out of crisis while eliminating irritants.
