The Washington Capitals Hockey Club (HC) lost to the Dallas Stars in the National Hockey League (NHL) regular season match. The game ended on January 8 with a score of 1-4.

The only goal from HC Washington was scored by Russian striker Alexander Ovechkin. He now has 37 (18+19) points in 44 games this season, according to Sport-Express.
